MY APRIL TRIP TO PERU

Getting ready for my trip to Peru this week! Lots to do! Packing is a mess because I will go to the Pacaya Samiria Reserve in the NW part of Peru and the headwaters of the Amazon....and then to the Colca Canyon, the deepest canyon in the world and one of the highest located at over 11,000 feet.....ie..this means cold! So hot then cold which means extra layers of clothing and a larger suitcase. Darn and all I wanted to bring was a backpack! Oh well....if I throw in a day or two in Lima to visit friends....I have to bring even more clothes ......so this trip is a packing nightmare. I have things strewn all over the bed in my guest room. Can't wait to get in the air on Friday!
