I am currently entering into "panic mode" this week as I get ready to attend a tourism conference in Quito, Ecuador. This is the 3rd such meeting in as many years. There will be two days in Quito then 2 in Cuenca in the south of the country and then 2 days in Guayaquil on the Pacific coast.
Quito is by now "old hat" for me as I have been there many many times. I am really looking forward to Cuenca and Guayaquil as they will give me lots of new things to write about.
Ecuador is called the land of constant spring because the weather is usually wonderful.I guess climate change has affected them as well because in checking weather.com it has been in the 60s all week and raining. For this Florida girl....that will be a shock to my system as this week in Palm Coast the weather has been fabulous and sunny in the 80s.
So as I enter into this week of panic....my entries here will be short and sweet. I have to finish all my work, get my house ready for guests while I am gone, and pack. Yikes.
