ON THE ROAD AGAIN

It seems that every time I begin to write a page in this blog....I am sitting in an airport somewhere trying to occupy the down time between flights.
This time it has been a long one. I left Florida early yesterday morning and connected...or almost didn't...with my non-stop to Seoul Korea. 19 hours later, I am in the gate area waiting for the next flight to Hanoi.

Who ever said that my job is glamorous? Were they nuts? Perhaps someone will invent the Startrek beam so that my next trip can be done without these horrible airport experiences.

Everywhere these days security is tight at airports. Traveling through the tortured jungle of people who don't know the ropes in our country, let alone a foreign one. is a definite disadvantage.

And I am not at all sure that the economy is down! Everywhere I go, flights are full, full, full. Seats also seem to be getting smaller (no I am not putting on weight or girth). Pack em in and get em out...must be the new motto of the airlines.

In any case, the Seoul (Incheon) International Airport is filled with designer shops...good for browsing...but prices out of sight. It is true that the US dollar is not going as far as it used to.

So here I sit....getting ready for my next adventure. Off to Hanoi. My rice barge awaits .

They are calling my flight....finally!
