HIKING IN POKHARA MAYBE!

Early on this hot sunny  morning we are off to the hills of Pakorah to hike to see tigers, waterfalls and mountains.
Vietnam was hot, but I think that this area is hotter! There are intermittent rains at night which makes the humidity jump off the charts.
We are so used to air-conditioning and cool breezes, that when confronted with 100% humidity and sun, it seems almost unbearable.
Vehicles are air-conditioned as are the hotel rooms, but most public areas are not. Shade is your best friend when hiking, and always with a water bottle in hand.  The rain would be welcome if it would just fall.
It is raining in the next destination, Pokorah, and thankfully there are lots of fans in the airport as we wait for our flight to take off.  Our flight is delayed.  When the rain clouds move into the Himalayas, airports close.  Who wants to land in a small valley surrounded by 25,000 ft peaks that are covered in mist and rain.  I am positive that I don't want to end up on the side of one of those high mountains, so Bhudda Air...take all the time you need.
