OFF AGAIN

I feel so guilty that it has been since May when I posted my last blog! I apologize.
I left you in Ecuador and then in June I was in New York City for visiting family and then returned three weeks later for the 1st meeting of the Saveur Magazine's Travel Advisory Board. After having been in the city so many times...I feel almost like I live there. My daughter lived on 4th Ave where we spent the Christmas Holidays and now lives in Brooklyn. I always remember the famous old book about "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" and I have found out that it is true as the houses are old brownstones with big gardens behind them and all the streets are lined with big old oak trees.
So now I am old hand at using the subway to get back and forth to Midtown Manhattan where my meetings were held.
Today finds me in the Sky Club (Delta's new name for the Crown Room) waiting for my flight to Frankfurt Germany. My friend Judy and I are on our way to Germany, Austria and Hungary to join up with Viking River Cruises Romantic Danube Cruise. I don't know how romantic it will be in a tiny room without our spouses....however we are definitely planning on having a good time!

So....this time I promise to try and keep up each day so friends and family alike can follow our footsteps in Europe.

Its time to board our plane....so bibi for now! Cheers!
