SURPRISE....I'M OFF AGAIN. BUT WHO KNOWS WHERE?

In my last post, I was excited that I was once again heading for Argentina and then Uruguay.
NOT!
Now I have no idea where I am going. I am in Atlanta in the Delta Sky Club, resting between flights. I am going to Buenos Aires...but after that...who knows.
This is a MYSTERY TRIP!
It seems that the folks in Uruguay that were going to host me, were too busy with cruise ship passengers to pay attention to little old me. I was going to visit their most famous cities, Punta del Este and the beaches north of there. See the wonderful new haciendas with vineyard just waiting to export to the USA as well as the historic city of Colonia del Sacramento.
NOT!
I guess shore excursions for thousands of passengers are more important to the Uruguayans than promoting other areas in their country that are rarely visited. GET THE MONEY WHILE YOU CAN URUGUAY.

The traveling public is very fickle.....so unless they discover something exciting and new...the cruise lines might pass you over for a longer stop in Buenos Aires and ports south.

Oh well...not to worry. I arrive in Buenos Aires tomorrow morning and then my host will tell me where I am off to. I have a feeling that I will be going farther south to Patagonia as he told me to bring warm clothing and my riding boots. I do hope I will see glaciers, haciendas and have some great Argentinean wines seeing as I won't be drinking Uruguayan wines.

So...onward to Argentina....Hooray.. I am a happy camper!
