ON MY WAY AGAIN

Well....did you wonder where I was? After my wonderful weekend in San Diego with great food, entertainment...a super spa and a fabulous golf experience....I found myself back again at home (well just for a week!)...in beautiful Florida.

I find that when I am in my home office...I get so busy that it is hard to keep up with my blog. It's also not as much fun as when I am on the road.
Admittedly, living in Florida is like being on vacation 24/7....with the beach less than half mile away and my pool calling my name every day.
But work I must and so I sit in front of my computer and connect with friends and clients to plan their next trips. One thing that is special is that so many of my clients have become good friends. I even feel like the godmother to a young couple that has been with me for years. I planned their post honeymoon trip and now get family pictures of their growing family all the time. I just love my job!

In any case.....today finds me again in the Crown Room at the Atlanta airport on my way to Bozeman, Montana. It is the occasion of my mother's 90th birthday (she hates me to tell people she is that old!). But my 90 year old dad is taking her to Bozeman where my sister Debbie lives to celebrate. The entire family is going. My daughter and family from Denver and hopefully even daughter from NYC will show up.

So....hopefully there will not be any delays for weather and I will go from a warm 85 degrees in Florida to a (for me) cold high of 70 degrees. Hope I don't freeze ! I did bring my "long johns" just in case. Now don't laugh......it is really true that when you live in a warm climate your blood gets thinner and the cold affects you more.

Even cold however, I hope to take advantage of some great vistas and good hikes in the Spanish Peaks area outside of Bozeman. I have hiked and skied there before...amidst the buffalo and deer and even an occasional bear! It is a glorious place to enjoy the outdoors.

Time to go for my next flight.......hope these miles that I am getting will get me somewhere when I need them!
